Before learning about OOBE/Astral Projection, we both would share experiences about our travels and encounters. Dr. Monroe's books; I found it very interesting because I have been doing the OOBE since I was a child; around the age of 12. I never understood it, but now I see that Dr. Monroe made me feel accepted because one cannot talk to people about this stuff. One can say that I have been projecting automatically since then, but then it got worse a few months ago. I would wake up in different areas and when falling asleep I went through the "process." I didn't have control over this and noticed how Dr. Monroe tested and had patience with this. I decided since then to write down everything that I encountered. Remarkably, I started remembering everything I did. I spoke to a person who attended the Gateway Voyage and she stated after hearing my experiences that I would be advanced for that training. They inspired me to learn more about the subject of the soul and astral projection. I’ve now read many, MANY books on the subject. I’ve never really met anyone else passionate about it until this year. I made friends with a woman who I’ve began passing my books to. She’s becoming really enthusiastic about the subject too. It’s exciting to watch. I told her about always wanting to go to the Monroe institute, and we looked it up on the internet. Both our hearts fell: The gateway voyage program costs almost two thousand dollars! It takes nearly two months for either of us to make that much. I understand the need to make money to keep the school running, and I understand that you teach invaluable techniques to help people experience priceless experiences. But maybe there should be some contests a few times a year where people write in what they hope to learn, and the winners get into the gateway program free. Or maybe offer one gateway voyage program a year where anyone can get in at a quarter of the usual price. I have always felt that this is a wonderful organization, dedicated to an extremely important mission. I agree that we are more than our physical bodies.
