Darlene R. Miller, PhD, Director of Programs, Vice-President TMI
Email: darlene.miller [@] monroeinstitute.org

Darlene began her association with The Institute in 1984, working as a volunteer in the research lab with Robert Monroe in the Explorer Program. She was a residential trainer from 1985 until 1994 when she was appointed Director of Programs.

Prior to 1984, Darlene was the director of a 180-bed institution in Colorado for the treatment of court committed violent and sex offenders. She likes to point out that during that time it literally was her job to lock people up and make certain that they remained locked up, whereas by contrast her work at TMI involves helping to facilitate a process in which participants are able to thrive and become the freest they can possibly become.
