Membership Information
The Monroe Institute is a membership organization. Being a member of the Institute implies intimate knowledge, overt endorsement, and active support of the vision and mission of the Institute. Membership means that you serve the best interests of the public and uphold our not-for-profit charter, Articles of Incorporation, and Bylaws. If you are considering membership, review our corporate and nonprofit documentation and make an informed decision. By joining The Monroe Institute, you become part of a global community of like-minded people who are intent on self-discovery and personal transformation. Your valued membership will help the Institute sustain Robert Monroe’s legacy of providing something of value to our contemporary culture and further his inspired vision to change constructively humankind’s direction and destiny. This something of value about which we speak involves recognition of the added benefits to life that an experiential education brings. Learning through personal experience is especially valued and is celebrated in the well-known expression, “Experience is the best teacher.” One’s life is made fuller, richer, and more enjoyable as result of acquiring knowledge through education and experience. TMI’s program and workshop graduates develop new approaches to ways of thinking and being, a different overview, a changed perspective from which life itself takes on a new significance. It is in these profound seminar programs and workshops that many come to realize through direct experience: We are more than our physical bodies. As a Sustaining Member (your annual gift of $50), you will receive: Become a New or Renewing Sustaining Member Now Individuals wishing to apply for the Professional Membership should download and complete the application, which is subject to acceptance by The Monroe Institute.
