Recommended Readings and Recordings

Please understand that what Robert Monroe has written in FAR JOURNEYS about the one-to-one Explorer sessions in the lab is not part of the Gateway Voyage training system. Also, though Bob's books document his considerable experiences in the out-of-body state, the Gateway Voyage offers a much broader, more comprehensive exposure to expanded states of consciousness, of which the out-of-body state is only one. Therefore, we neither emphasize nor guarantee an out-of-body experience. We do believe, however, that taking the time to listen to yourself may and will be quite transformative!

If you are unfamiliar with our audio-guidance process, it is suggested that you listen to the Gateway Voyage Introductory Exercise before attending the program. And be sure to follow the "How to Listen" instructions provided.

Other Activities

There are many wonderful places to visit and things to do near the Institute's facility in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Please consider some of them if you'd like to enhance your trip.

Fallen Oak Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful Guesthouse located on the Monroe Institute New Land.

Please feel free to contact us is you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.
