After experiencing the difference Hemi-Sync technology had on my personal performance in the mid-1990s, I wanted to bring this pioneering work to the world of sports so I founded In-Sync Sport International, Inc. It's the In-Sync Sport exercises I developed that The Monroe Institute allows you to access directly, free of charge here on this website.
Interestingly, we had many top professional athletes that used Hemi-Sync to improve their own performances back then, but they were reluctant to share these critical insights with others. It turns out, professional sports is a seriously competitive business!
It is my hope now that more and more athletes realize the value of improved mental performance to reach their full potential, the work we did together at The Monroe Institute will gain a new audience. And you can easily share what you've discovered; after all, now it's free!

Hemi-Sync® and The Monroe Institute

In 1975, Robert A. Monroe was awarded an original patent for his pioneering work on the intricacies of sound/brain interface. The Monroe Institute, internationally known for its work on the influence of sound on human behavior, is a nonprofit educational and research organization headquartered in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The Institute has been dedicated for over 30 years to enhancing and heightening the broad variety of human experience through the use of Hemi-Sync audio technologies.

How to Listen to Hemi-Sync
Before:
• For at least one half hour prior to listening to these exercises, refrain from eating heavily, drinking alcohol, taking medication, or using drugs.
• Go to the bathroom and empty your bladder.
• Loosen any tight clothing and remove shoes, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
• Adjust the volume to a low comfortable level. It is only important that you hear the words; your subconscious will absorb the background sound.
During:
• Use stereo headphones.
• Listen in a room with low light where there will be no interruptions for the duration of the exercise.
• Have a blanket available.
• Lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Keep your head supported.
• If you have an itch, scratch. Your body will move back into a comfortable position.
• Visualize yourself doing what the words state.
• It is not important that you stay awake. The exercise will be equally effective if you fall asleep while listening.
After:
• Allow for “re-entry” after the exercises are finished.
• These learning exercises provide you with what you need to gain control of your physical, mental, and emotional capabilities.
• It is up to you to take what you have learned into practice.
• The benefits will be cumulative. The more often you participate in the exercise, the greater control you will have, utilizing the power of your mind.
Precautions:
• These exercises will alter your state of consciousness. Therefore, do not listen to these Hemi-Sync exercises while driving or operating heavy equipment.
• Do not listen to these Hemi-Sync exercises if you have a history or tendency toward seizures.
• Do not use with other light and sound devices.
