Your first highly experiential trek, the Gateway Voyage, takes you on an incredible six-day intensive adventure with like-minded explorers in a gorgeous location in Joshua Tree, CA. Participate in the evolution of human consciousness; join us and realize your own true destiny!

The Gateway Voyage exploration is a prerequisite for a number of graduate programs. The Gateway Voyage provides tools that enable: development and exploration of human consciousness; deeper levels of self-discovery; expansion of one’s awareness; willful control of that awareness; communication with and visits to other energy systems and realities.  In this course, participants are introduced to an audio-guidance technology for integrating consciousness and learn about the numerous opportunities available for mental, emotional, and physical healing.

The Monroe Institute has a strong conviction that it is important to support and assist individuals in finding personal answers, rather than promoting a particular belief system or doctrine, thus all are encouraged to bring individual interests and concerns to this course. Though there is an opportunity to examine broad overviews regarding consciousness and change, it is up to each individual to discover and reach his or her own personal conclusions with the assistance of both the course facilitators and within the group setting as the concept of being more than one’s physical body is investigated and explored.

The Gateway Voyage consists of progressive, audio-guidance exercises, application sessions, group discussions, and informal lectures. Additionally, demonstrations and videos elaborate on the research and effects of this audio-guidance technology on brainwave arousal, human behavior, thought, and emotions. Finally, participants are given a tour of the research laboratory to promote further understanding of the research component of The Monroe Institute.

The out-of-body state, and the tools that may be utilized to achieve this particular state of consciousness, are covered in the Gateway Voyage, but that is only a small part of the program’s overall scope of self-awareness, self- empowerment and stress reduction. We cannot guarantee a conscious out-of-body experience during, or subsequent to, a Gateway Voyage Program – but TMI does offer guidance and information about the experience of exploration out of the body.

We believe that coming to the Gateway Voyage with an open mind and a willingness to learn about yourself will greatly enhance your experience. The program does not use a pass-fail, right-wrong learning model. We encourage the exploration of consciousness from a personal and individualistic standpoint that allows you to determine what is most meaningful and effective for you.

Tools you will be provided include:

  • Focus 10 -mind awake, body asleep
  • Focus 12 – expanded awareness
  • Focus 15 – no time
  • Focus 21 – other energy systems

These tools and others presented during the program can be used to accomplish a variety of goals.

Goals include:

  • relaxation
  • recognition and control of personal energy
  • problem-solving
  • exploration of the out-of-body state
  • greater self-awareness
  • emotional cleansing
  • assertion of goals for your future

TMI is dedicated to the exploration of human consciousness and discovering the many possibilities of human potentiality that may enhance our evolution on our planet. The Gateway Voyage is a method of discovery where one can explore different states of consciousness through direct experience. By exploring our internal world, we are able to understand in greater depth the nature of our own reality and our relationship to the universe. We utilize an audio-guidance technology as a tool to access these levels of awareness which assists one in knowing that we are more than our physical bodies. We invite you to find out for yourself and let the Gateway guide you on your own personal voyage inward.
