I call myself a multimedia designer in the broadest sense of the word. The world is my studio.
Some specific experiences and thoughts in the past made it already clear for me that there is more ‘between heaven and earth’ than we ‘assume or think’.
Working for years in my studio the immersion in self has developed itself and meeting up with the hemi-sync technique a few years ago appeared to be an encounter of recognition. It felt as if experience and consciousness had met up and the deep interest in (the research of) consciousness and the developments accordingly are much more practical now and can be used and pointed at in (my) daily life.
As a visual artist, trained in becoming aware of, observation and perception, non verbal communication has my full attention at the moment. A lot can be seen from the surroundings or environment and the actions taken in it only.
Doing the practical work in my studio, youngsters nowadays ask for coaching; during a short period they get the opportunity (i.e. space and support) to get aware more of the specific strengths in (them)selve(s), they (re)learn to trust these signals; they are stimulated to use these signals to go for their next steps, despite all the systems designed to control.
Besides these activities in the studio I am a networker in the growing awareness related to the global movement of Transition Towns; a practical movement which expresses that we are so much part of the whole which cannot be neglected.
The part-time work as interactive designer at the Dutch public broadcast organisation NTR in Hilversum, The Netherlands, provides the material necessities in practical life. 'Life is a wonderful journey in which consciousness plays an enchanting role'.
After following several Hemi-Sync® programs in Europe I became a trainer in Holland in 2010. I am now supporting the use of Hemi-Sync in the Dutch speaking region. We offer Excursion Weekends and organize Local Chapter meetings on a regular base.
