Tip Walker

Residential Trainer & Outreach Trainer

Tip has had a deep interest in spiritual exploration and the field of increasing human potential since his early twenties. He started with Transcendental Meditation (TM) his senior year in college. Then, as a post-grad student at a Japanese university, he became deeply involved in a Buddhist/Shinto religious organization. This intense experience challenged many of his long-held beliefs and opened him up to a greatly expanded concept of reality. He continues to have an interest in a range of esoteric teachings.

He holds a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Colby College and an M.A.T. in Bilingual/Multicultural Education from Alaska Pacific University. He also completed two years of post-graduate studies in Japanese Classical Literature at Tenri University in Japan.

He worked as a Bilingual/ESL teacher and later as a Japanese Immersion Teacher in the Anchorage School District for many years. He also taught Japanese at Alaska Pacific University.

When Tip and his wife Ellen moved to Virginia, they went full-time with their training and consulting business in language education. Their venture soon flourished as they developed a strong client base throughout the U.S. as well as in Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Tip and Ellen also decided to devote themselves more to their long-standing love of energy healing. After completing a series of programs at The International Center for Reiki Training, they became certified as Reiki Masters. They have since studied a number of modalities which they have incorporated into their energy healing practice.

Tip has attended twelve residential programs at TMI and is an Accredited Outreach Trainer. He and Ellen also design and give a variety of Hemi-Sync® personal/spiritual development workshops both locally and wherever the spirit takes them. Tip serves on the Leadership Council of the Local Chapter Network and co-leads the TMI Floyd County Local Chapter. He is also a member of the TMI Professional Division and the Dolphin Energy Club.
