Maybe YOU can help me. I am still waiting for someone with information about the audio technology to contact me? Anyone home? I would LIKE to enroll for a program but am skeptical that it will be useful as I am deaf in my right ear. It is my understanding that for the brain to be fooled into thinking it is perceiving a binaural beat, This is done by feeding something like 100hrz in one ear and 90hrz in the other giving a binaural of 5. Since my right is almost completely dead this isn't going to happen as far as I can tell. Before I lost my right hearing I used the Monroe CD's successfully. After the deficit they have been useless. That's not to say I have not had some interesting visuals happen as a result of just ordinary meditation, BUT THAT IS NOT the same. Before the deafness, the audio technology actually enhanced the experiences. Not anymore. HERE IS MY QUESTION: Since I have about 10 to 15 % hearing in my right ear, up in the very very high range (I cannot hear any normal lower range), can the audio technician, assuming there is one, tailor the sound for my individual Chec Unit or do you just feed the same AUDIO CD's to everyone...one shoe fits all? Obviously one shoe does NOT fit all. Is each chec unit tailored for the individual in them? So far no one at Monroe has had the courtesy to get back to me.

Skippy, Sorry it took me so long to realize you had left a message. I have forwarded your request for more information on to our Technical Researcher Bob Holbrook and will get you an answer soon.

Skippy, We talked with Bob Holbrook. He was apologetic but states that both Hemi-Sync and SAM are audio technologies and without additional research resources we cannot support additional research for people who are deaf or only have partial hearing. Until then, we apologize we cannot offer you more information or answers at this time. Michael Peter
