Although this NDE occurred sixty years ago when I was thirteen I still remember it vividly. I was in hospital waiting for my appendix to be removed when it burst. I was floating above my body towards a light. The pain had subsided and I was happy just floating. I don't remember seeing any beings, just the awareness of being told I was not ready to enter the light, and to return to my body. I then heard my mother shouting my name and I was back.
Since that day, I was different from other teenagers, much more interested in deeper subjects than is usual. My fear of death became minimal and I began pursuing a spiritual journey much more strongly.
On that day I was lifted to another aspect of myself and my journey really began as I awakened to greater teachings and began Earth Walking to many sacred sites around the world.
At the age of thirty-five, while listening to a spiritual teaching, I was zapped with a light through the top of my head, which flowed through my body, feeling like champagne bubbles.
