Choose the method that suits you best. We understand that everyone has their own unique preferences and beliefs when it comes to managing their health and weight. That's why we're leaving the choice of health and weight loss methods entirely up to you. However, we’ll offer some suggestions for you to consider in case you don’t already have an idea about what might work best for you.

You’ll need to get moving and incorporate both physical and mental exercise into your routine.  You’ll learn more about different exercise options to support your efforts. You’ll be encouraged to select a combination of aerobic, stretching, and resistance training to your routine. Don’t worry, it doesn’t involve going to a gym unless you want to do so.

Transform your mindset through focused attention and awareness. Learn to actively forgive past choices and circumstances, and accept your present reality. Embrace the concept of starting from where you are in this moment.

Replace negative thoughts and self-talk with positive affirmations such as:

  • I am making healthy choices.
  • I love who I am today. And if you can't say that yet, start with: I appreciate who I am today.
  • I am grateful for who I am today.
  • My body is working with me to transform into my best self.

Pro Tip: If you struggle to find complimentary things to say about yourself, focus on a part of your body that you love. We all have at least one! "I have great hair." "I love my hands." "I have great calves." We’ll help you with this one too!

Facilitated by a trained Monroe Institute instructor. These and other techniques you will be given are the core of Bob Monroe’s unique approach to consciousness development. Once experienced and practiced, there is no limit to how far and how deep you can go or to the benefits you may receive.

How it works

  1. Optimal Health is a five-week course, with five teaching sessions. Each session provides instruction presented in the form of a weekly Zoom meeting, written lessons, workbook and streamed audio exercises. 
  2. Weekly Zoom meetings are from 5:00-6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday and facilitated by a Trainer.

  3. You don't need to be online at any particular time or day to access the course materials or meditation exercises, and once they are introduced on the course site, they remain available in your Monroe account indefinitely for your review and practice.
  4. As part of this course you will receive 5 meditation exercises and two additional bonus meditations to continue your journey once the program has concluded.
  5. It is recommended that you have access to a minimum internet speed of 5 Mbps for streaming the exercises.
  6. Our online courses are meant to be primarily experiential in nature, so the more you engage in regular practice offline during the program, using the audio exercises provided, the more you can accelerate your progress.
