Senior Financial Controller
Tom brings to The Monroe Institute over 25 years of experience working in various financial positions ranging from Accountant to Chief Financial Officer in various non-profit organizations.
Tom came to Charlottesville Va. in 2006 with the Semester At Sea Program (SAS) by way of Pittsburgh Pa. where he worked for 15 years in various financial positions ranging from Controller to Chief Financial Officer. During his time at SAS, Tom visited over 28 countries and sailed on the Spring 01 Voyage around the world as the Bursar.
Tom graduated from Duquesne University with a BS degree in Accounting and from Robert Morris University with a Master of Science degree.
Tom enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and watching his daughter play basketball for Roanoke College.
