As we continue to grow internationally, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Email Marketing & Brand Manager to help guide how our voice, story, and mission are communicated across the globe.

Position Overview

This role blends two essential functions:

  1. Email Marketing Leadership (strategy, design, segmentation, automation, analytics)
  2. Brand Stewardship (creative oversight, message consistency, content alignment)

We are looking for a HubSpot expert with proven experience designing high-performing emails, managing multi-step campaigns, writing compelling copy, and ensuring brand consistency across digital touchpoints. Experience supporting international audiences and multi-language workflows is strongly preferred.

You will collaborate across departments to elevate the Monroe brand, strengthen global awareness, and drive engagement and revenue through strategic email communication.

Key Responsibilities

Email Strategy & Execution

  • Own the full lifecycle of email marketing in HubSpot: planning, segmentation, execution, testing, and optimization
  • Design visually engaging, mobile-optimized, on-brand emails using HubSpot’s design tools (drag-and-drop + HTML familiarity preferred)
  • Write and refine email copy that aligns with Monroe’s unique voice and mission
  • Build and manage automated workflows that support customer journeys, lead nurturing, product sales, and event launches
  • Develop and deliver revenue-focused campaigns across multiple product lines (residential programs, online courses, membership, products)
  • Maintain list hygiene, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR)

Brand Management & Creative Direction

  • Ensure that all email content reflects and reinforces the Monroe Institute brand identity, voice, and visual aesthetics
  • Collaborate on content calendars, marketing campaigns, and storytelling initiatives
  • Develop brand-aligned messaging that resonates with both domestic and international audiences
  • Help guide creative assets through tools like Canva or internal design partners
  • Serve as a brand guardian to ensure consistency across touchpoints

International Expansion & Localization

  • Coordinate with translators, partners, and internal teams to support multi-language email workflows
  • Adapt messaging to global audiences with cultural sensitivity
  • Assist with brand presence and communication consistency across international markets

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Tools

  • Work closely with content, product, and program teams to promote launches and announcements
  • Use AI tools to enhance content creation, efficiency, and optimization
  • Utilize Slack, Notion, Canva, and other platforms to support team workflows
  • Build Hubspot dashboards and reporting for leadership to show performance and insights

Qualifications

  • Required: 3–5+ years of hands-on email marketing experience, with significant Hubspot expertise
  • A successful track record building and managing sales-oriented email campaigns
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to adopt an established brand voice
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, creative alignment, or digital brand oversight
  • Experience working with international or multilingual audiences; multilingual candidates highly preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting platforms (Slack, Notion, Canva)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfort with A/B testing
  • Experience using AI tools for marketing efficiency
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • A passion for human development, consciousness studies, wellness, or transformational education is a plus
  • Previous nonprofit experience is a plus
