Programs for Returning StudentsRetreats are both residential and virtual synchronous programs—in the US and internationally. By definition, retreats are real-time programs. They typically are several days long and include live instruction and group participation. Available in week-long and weekend durations.
Courses are only online asynchronous courses - Courses involve a series of e-learning encounters that are not onsite. Featuring video and written instruction and streaming exercises and forum discussions.
Workshops are shorter programs offered on campus or off-campus by regional outreach trainers. Workshops are typically a weekend in duration. Available in-person, online, and virtually.
Events are partial-day gatherings that are not primarily educational in nature. Events include social gatherings like Monroe Community Group meetings, open houses, and reunions.
