Hector majored in Business Administration at San Francisco University in Quito, Ecuador, and earned a master’s degree in International Business from Wuhan University of Technology in China. His professional career included working in foreign trade as a purchasing agent in China for various Latin American clients and later focusing on import/export activities between China and Ecuador.

Following the death of his parents from cancer, Hector became deeply curious about human consciousness and its potential to survive beyond death. This led him to explore topics such as near-death experiences, past lives, and life between lives. His journey in this field included training in Past Life Therapy in Spain, where he encountered Robert Monroe's books. These readings provided clarity on his own out-of-body experiences and sparked his interest in Monroe’s scientific approach to consciousness study. Hector attended his first Monroe program, Gateway Voyage, in January 2020, and has since engaged in various Monroe programs, including MC2, Introduction to Lucid Dreaming, Lifting the Veil, and Guidelines. He is dedicated to introducing the Monroe Institute and its transformative technologies to Latin America, emphasizing their applications both in consciousness exploration and daily life.
