Effie is devoted to helping people expand and elevate consciousness, reconnect with their essential nature, and live fully from InsideOut. At the heart of her work is a defining inquiry for our time: What makes us truly human in the age of AI?
In the first half of her life, Effie chased society’s definition of success: an Ivy League degree and careers at a top investment bank and top consulting firms. Yet in 2017, an unexpected journey to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest cracked her open to a reality beyond the analytical mind. Mystical experience and an awakened sensitivity to subtle energy led her to VortexHealing®, a deep-field energy-healing lineage in which she trained for eight years, reaching its highest practitioner level.
In December 2019, an unexpected spiritual awakening transformed the direction of her life. She began an intensive exploration of diverse religious traditions, spiritual teachings, and healing modalities. What followed was a profound “dark night of the soul”—a complete inner and outer reconstruction involving identity, self-worth, relationships, values, physical well-being, nervous-system regulation, and the awakening of intuitive and psychic sensitivities. She consequently spent the following three years to deep psychological and spiritual inner work.
Her encounter with the Monroe Institute was equally unexpected. While participating in the Gateway Voyage Virtual Retreat, Effie had another powerful mystical experience on the final day of the program. She later discovered that the Monroe Institute’s map of consciousness, Hemi-Sync®, and Monroe Sound Science offered an ideal framework for helping people ground elevated states of consciousness into everyday life.
Effie is a Monroe Institute Outreach Trainer and currently leads the San Francisco Bay Area Monroe
Community Group. She is a certified Spiritual Coach through the Life Purpose Institute (ICF training); a Mind Mirror EEG practitioner; a certified QHHT practitioner; a 200-hour yoga teacher; and a practitioner trained through the highest level of VortexHealing®. She is also a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).
Outside the spiritual realm, Effie is a Partner at an AI consulting firm and a guest lecturer at Stanford
University on mergers and acquisitions. She previously worked at Boston Consulting Group and Goldman Sachs. Effie holds an MBA from Cornell University, with additional studies in AI at Stanford University and Finance at HEC Paris.
