“Stay thirsty, my friends!” – The Most Interesting Man in the World

Quenching my thirst with curiosity and a good sense of humor, I approach life with enjoyment and wonder always tempered with the eye of the tourist. The world is a vast amusement park with every ride imaginable and no lines.

I discovered the best ride of all in 1993 by reading a book called The Watchers by Betty Andreasson, where The Monroe Institute® was referenced in a footnote.  Through a series of incredible coincidences, I was signed up for Gateway Voyage® within a month. It was a turning point in my life. Bob showed me the way across the canyon between believing and knowing that I am more than my physical body. From that week on my life journey took off in new directions of self-discovery. Over the years of attending The Monroe Institute (TMI) programs I can’t say enough about the benefits I’ve received. I will say every time I return to The Monroe Institute I am overwhelmed with the feeling of coming home.

I’ve taken to heart Bob’s final message to “get it out there” by becoming a TMI Outreach Trainer. I’ve also become very active with the LCN (Local Chapter Network) acting as the regional coordinator for the northeastern and southwestern United States. I just can’t think of a better way to share and give back all the good things I have received from Bob Monroe and TMI.

Steve Winchester grew up in Newark, Delaware. There he raised three kids and worked in material science research at the DuPont Experimental Station for thirty one years. He most enjoys exploring the places where history, science and spirituality meet.
