Sacred Egypt Journey 2025

A 13-day Monroe Institute journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders, with private access, expert guidance, and moments for personal discovery.

Travel with Monroe Institute faculty and Egyptologist Ahmed Nour on a 13-day educational journey through Egypt’s most significant archaeological and cultural landmarks. This program combines guided exploration, in-depth historical context, and time for personal reflection, offering a well-rounded understanding of both ancient and modern Egypt.

Experience private entry to the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx before they open to the public, explore Sakkara’s Step Pyramid and Serapeum, and sail the Nile on a three-night cruise visiting temples at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. The itinerary also includes Philae Island, the sacred temples of Abydos and Dendera, and a private visit to the tomb of Seti I in the Valley of the Kings. Cultural highlights include time in the Nubian Village, Cairo’s Coptic Quarter, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Khan el Khalili market.

Accommodations are in 5-star hotels, with five nights in Cairo, two in Aswan, three aboard the Nile cruise with full board, and two in Luxor. Breakfast and dinner are included daily, along with all in-country transportation and domestic flights. All visits are guided in English by Ahmed Nour, whose expertise brings depth and clarity at every site.
